Objectives

For eleven years, the First Coast Neonatal Symposium has presented neonatal care professionals with the opportunity to expand their knowledge by providing diversified topics and presentations.

 

The overall program objectives are to:

• present state-of-the-art information on the diagnosis and management of disease processes in the NICU patient.
• review current knowledge of the care of the sick neonate as well as the normal newborn.
• recognize new trends toward improving outcomes in pregnancy and the neonate.
• instruct and update participants on the appropriate nutritional and developmental care of the neonate.
